CR Porsche Macan PDK Clutch Oil Service

1. Remove center underbody panel and remove cross-strut from front axle carrier and place drain pan under transmission, replace 6 fasteners.

1. Drain the PDK transmission PDK-ATF fluid.
2. Remove PDK external ATF filter cover and drain ATF, remove and replace ATF filter with new filter.
3. Install new ATF filter cover sealing ring, torque filter cover to 6ft/lbs or 8Nm, reinstall drain plug with new sealing ring to 33ft/lbs or 45Nm. Remove ATF fill (inspection) plug and prepare to replace with new fill plug and new sealing ring. 
4. Static fill the ATF (PDK) transmission with fluid until it runs out of the fill-plug hole (Control opening), leave the fill plug off for now.
5. Connect a suitable scan tool, monitor the ATF (PDK) fluid temperature. Attention: Hot oil can scold!
6. Start and run the engine in “Park”, for 20 seconds and then turn it off.
7. Repeat step #6, static fill the ATF (PDK) transmission with fluid until it runs out of the fill-plug hole (Control opening), leave the fill plug off for now.
8. Start and run the engine in “Park” at idle speed, when the transmission reaches the fluid temperature at 30° C, you can now check the ATF fluid level. If ATF fluid is overflowing out of the fill plug hole, the transmission ATF fluid level is okay a new fill plug should be installed with a new sealing ring. The ATF fill procedure must be performed at a temperature range of 30-40° C. If the temperature of 40° C is reached, the fill procedure must be ceased. If a temperature of 50°C is reached you must stop and install the fill plug to ensure no excessive loss of fluid. The fill plug must be replaced including a new sealing ring and torque the fill plug to 33ft/lbs or 45Nm.
9. Turn engine off.
10. Reassemble the car as per the Workshop Manual in PIWIS TSI Online. 
11.  Torque cross-strut fasteners: 2) 12x51mm to 67ft/lbs or 90Nm and then 90 Degrees.
12.  Torque cross-strut fasteners: 4) 12x42mm to 67ft/lbs or 90Nm and then 135 Degrees.
13. Perform test drive and reinspect for any fluid leaks.

NOTE: The Porsche factory recommended Service Interval for the PDK transmission fluid is every 40,000 miles. Consult with PIWIS TSI Online for any additional needed information. DRAIN ATF (PDK) FLUID WHEN ENGINE COLD!
