2) Test Drive car and verify & document customer complaint/s and issue/s.
3) Run Scan tool & print faults including Expanded or Freeze frame data for Environmental conditions.
4) Check Technical Forum archives (Porsche CR Tech Forums).
5) Check TSB’s, SIB’s, TI’s or ATI’s (Factory Bulletins) for related issues.
6) Utilize factory TSI website in assistance with repair.
7) Determine if there are any recalls and/or campaigns before repair.
7) Repair vehicle after client approval.
8) Confirm repair (With OBD-II Mode $06 & other available data).
9) Test drive and quality control vehicle.
10) Hand in paperwork.
Common procedures:
1) Crankcase vacuum (breather test with Manometer).
2) Fuel trim values (TRA-RKAT-FRA-FRAU-FRAO).
3) Smoke test component(s).
4) Misfire data (check with secondary ignition diagnosis with DSO &/or TA500).
5) Coding and programming via proper Scan Tool.
6) Mini-Vehicle Hand-Over and Vehicle Hand-Over.
7) Battery “Hard Reset” with locally made resistance device.
